Alain’s Biography

Alain Ucari is Head of Pictet Wealth Management in Monaco. He is also Secretary of the Monaco Association for Financial Activities (AMAF).

A private-banking specialist with almost three decades of experience in the sector, Alain spearheaded the launch of Pictet Wealth Management's operations in Monaco in 2019, growing a small team of four specialists into an office of 19 within the space of a year.

Alain brings his considerable knowledge of Monaco society to Pictet Wealth Management, a division of Pictet Group, offering wealth management, investment and banking advice to high-net-worth individuals. Pictet believes in building long-term relationships to better advise clients on investment solutions and help them grow and manage their assets.

Before joining Pictet Alain worked at Julius Baer in Monaco, initially as CEO before being promoted to Chairman of the Board of Directors. Prior to Julius Baer, Alain spent 20 years at Credit Suisse, over 12 of them as CEO of its Monaco branch.

In 2019 Alain was promoted to Officer of the Order of Saint-Charles, an honour founded in 1858 and bestowed by Monaco’s sovereign, rewarding service to the State or Prince.
