Alessandra Losito’s Biography

With over 20 years’ experience in the financial sector, Alessandra Losito is the first woman to head Pictet Wealth Management (PWM) in Italy. In April 2022 Alessandra was appointed as an Equity Partner.

Having joined the prestigious wealth manager in 2005, Alessandra has held several key positions within the firm. Before stepping into her current role, she headed PWM’s Milan and Rome offices, leading a team of 20 wealth managers supplying banking and investment solutions to private clients, establishing their investment objectives and proposing strategies based on their personal financial statements and risk profiles.

Highly regarded by her colleagues and peers, Alessandra was recently honoured as ‘Professional of the Year: Wealth Management’ at the Financecommunity Awards and featured on their list of 50 Most Influential Professionals in the Italian Financial Sector, one of only four women leaders to make the list. In November 2022 Alessandra was voted one of the top 50 most powerful women in Italy by Fortune Italia magazine, and appeared on its front cover.

Alessandra gained in-depth investment expertise at previous positions at Citi Private Bank and Borsa Italiana. She started her financial career at PwC.

With an eye on sharing her time and skills with others, Alessandra helped launch the Fuoriclasse della Scuola project alongside FEDUF and the Italian Ministry of Education and serves as Head of Fundraising for this non-profit organisation. It awards scholarships, bursaries and funding to students, allowing them to further their education in key academic fields.

Alessandra is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She graduated from the University of Federico II with a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Business. READ MORE VIEW LESS
