During more than 20 years in the European healthcare sector, Cathrin has worked with both governments and corporations and, since joining CVC, she has overseen numerous deals in the sector, including investments in Theramex, FutureLife, Rayner, Sebia, Recordati, System C, Graphnet and Medivet.

Cathrin currently sits on the Boards of Spectrum Medical Group, System C, Recordati, Theramex and Sebia and has held several non-executive positions, including at Intercell, Qualitest and Icon plc. She is chair of CVC’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Away from work, Cathrin sits on the corporate board of Great Ormond Street Hospital, and is a member of Level20’s advisory board and the Lifesciences Advisory Council. An accomplished sportswoman, Cathrin was awarded six Cambridge Blues and represented Wales in both hockey and tennis.
