Bear Stearns was a global investment bank, securities trading and brokerage firm. After the financial crisis of 2008, Bear Stearns was acquired by JPMorgan Chase. Don also served on the Board of Directors and Management and Compensation Committees.
Friends of the High Line is a nonprofit organization that works with communities and is devoted to reimagining the role public spaces have in creating connected, healthy neighborhoods and cities.
The Nature Conservancy is a global environmental organization. Founded in 1951, it has over one million members globally as of 2021, and has protected more than 119,000,000 acres of land in its history.
Don has been a long-time supporter and board member of the nonprofit, Friends of the High Line. Each year, High Line Art collaborates with an international array of artists — both emerging and established — to produce new artworks inspired by the unique setting of the park.

Pretium, founded by Don Mullen, continues its expansion as investment capital keeps coming in. Many new hires are from Mullen's former company, Goldman Sachs.
Don Mullen sits down with Brian Sullivan at the Milken Institute Global Conference to discuss his real estate business model and the state of housing in the U.S.
Don took part in a panel titled 'The Future Risks and Opportunities in Private Credit'. The panel discussed alternative investments, namely the growing sector of private credit, from structured and corporate credit to residential credit.
