Hamish Burt is Chief Investment Officer of Twin Point Capital, the principal investment and advisory arm of LG Capital Investors, the single family office of Lawrence Guffey. Mr Guffey and Mr Burt co-founded the family office in 2014 following Mr Guffey’s career at Blackstone.
Mr Burt has primary responsibility for all asset management, principal investment and operational activities of the family office. Twin Point also provides private investment management services to a select group of US and European family offices. Mr Burt currently serves as a trustee and director on several boards including the Guffey Family Foundation and the GBSC Foundation.
Previously, Mr Burt was a Partner at Promethean Investments, a European private equity firm and a director of The Lyle Anderson Companies, a real estate investment firm. Mr Burt began his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Gleacher Partners.
Mr Burt holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s degree from Durham University.
