Prior to starting Millennium, Izzy was a floor broker, trader, and specialist on the American Stock Exchange and owned a specialist operation. He served as Chairman of the Specialist Association and has been on numerous American Stock Exchange committees, including Allocations, Allocation Procedures, Emerging Company Marketplace, Options, and Special Allocations.

The Englander Institute for Precision Medicine (EIPM) is a translational research hub that uses precision medicine tools, such as genetics, genomic sequencing, and clinical data to improve patients’ healthcare. A generous gift from Israel Englander helped expand and enhance its precision medicine program.
Met Council is America’s largest Jewish charity dedicated to serving the needy. Its ten different departments are staffed by experts who help others in a wide range of programs, including affordable housing, family violence, and, among others, senior assistance.
The office is projected to house 150 employees, who work either for the hedge fund or its subsidiary, quantitative investment firm WorldQuant. The office opened in 2022.
