James Baker’s Biography

James is a leading figure in the international media industry with extensive creative, production, channel management and media investment experience.

He is the Founder Partner of Silberhorn Media Capital, an advisory group providing strategic and growth guidance to the media, entertainment and sports sectors. He is the Chair of TV and film production group, Anyway Content.

James also serves on the board of IPR.VC, one of Europe’s leading media & content investment funds.

Previously James was President and Co-CEO of Red Arrow Studios, one of the world’s leading creators and distributors of entertainment content. He oversaw a portfolio of production and distribution businesses across Europe and the US, producing scripted, non-scripted and formatted content and IP, from TV series and films to short-form and branded digital content, made for an array of global platforms and networks.

James also has extensive channel management and programming experience, having previously spent 10 years at Sky, leading the platform into original programming as Controller of Sky One and then...
