He is the founder of Vico Partners, the strategic communications consultancy he established in 2017. Vico works with boards and senior business leaders, helping them to navigate complex issues and enhance corporate value through precise and effective communication strategies.

John is also a senior adviser at Nepean, the management consultancy founded by Gavin Davis, specialising in reputation and communications.

John’s career in corporate and financial communications began at Brunswick Group where he spent 16 years as a Partner, advising large and mid- cap public companies on high-profile corporate situations and M&A.

In 2007 John joined Tulchan Communications as a Partner, and in 2014 he became Chairman of the financial and corporate arm of Bell Pottinger.

Beyond his corporate roles, John is a keen supporter of the arts. He is a Trustee for the British Youth Opera and serves on the Development Board of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,...
