Jon Venverloh’s Biography

Jon Venverloh currently leads Venus Development Group as its Founder and Principal. His career path includes an influential 18-year tenure at Google, which he joined during the company's early start-up phase.

At Google, Jon played a key role in shaping the company's growth trajectory. His technical and business expertise contributed to the successful launches of multiple products, including the Chrome browser, Google’s earliest Enterprise solutions, and Google Shopping. A notable accomplishment was managing Google Shopping's largest acquisition – integrating a team of over 100 people and expanding the service from the US market into Europe.

In 2014, Jon became Director of Program Management, first in Google’s US headquarters and later in Google's European engineering headquarters in Switzerland. Overseeing parts of Google Shopping's product development and operations, he implemented changes that enhanced both merchant participation and user experience. During his time in Zürich, he developed and executed a diversity and inclusion strategy focused on recruiting more female engineers... During his time in Zürich, he developed and executed a diversity and inclusion strategy focused on recruiting more female engineers that reached all 3,000+ local Google employees.

His Google career included other significant leadership positions, such as Director of Global Sales and Global Head of Sales & Business Development. Prior to Google, Jon developed his business expertise at The Weather Channel, Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB Needham.

Outside of his professional work, Jon focuses on community impact through the Venverloh Family Foundation. This philanthropic organization supports various initiatives aimed at improving society and helping those in need.
