Kevin Chin is an entrepreneur, investor and operator who is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Arowana, an award-winning international B Corp-certified investment group. In recognition of his achievements, he was ranked #17 in Big Capital’s 2026 MO 100 Impact Ranking and has led Arowana to be ranked amongst the Top 50 impact companies globally for 6 consecutive years.

An expert in rapidly transforming and leading companies through distress, complex turnarounds, and hypergrowth, Kevin is a dynamic leader and innovative thinker who applies his business acumen to establish, acquire, transform and sell enterprises across multiple industries, including software, education, asset management, media, electric vehicles and renewable energy. He takes a proactive, hands-on approach, frequently assuming C-suite roles.

He is Founder and Chairman of several Arowana-founded entities, including the NASDAQ-listed AI data center and infrastructure company, VivoPower. In addition, he is Chairman of other businesses that were acquired and since scaled, including the electric vehicle company, Tembo.... Kevin’s work on the turnaround of VivoPower was recognised with a Gold Stevie for Innovative Achievement in Growth and Organization Recovery.

He also led the rescue of struggling tech firm RuleBurst, rebuilding it with a new leadership team and taking it through to acquisition by Oracle. He describes this experience in his book “HyperTurnaround!”.

Earlier in his career, Kevin was Vice President at J.P. Morgan, an International Equities Analyst at the LFG Family Office, and a Chartered Accountant at PwC and Deloitte.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW, completed a postgraduate program at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and is a member of YPO and Entrepreneurs’ Organization. READ MORE VIEW LESS
