Svante’s Biography

Svante Kumlin is the founder and CEO of renewable energy developer EEW Renewables. He was born and raised in the small village of Stenungsund, outside of Gothenburg in Sweden.

The serial entrepreneur launched his first company at the age of 20, and over the past 40 years he has worked in several industries, growing multiple businesses from start-up to mature enterprises. Svante has experience in M&A, private equity, and venture capital investments. Building on this experience, he has successfully drawn investment into his company, EEW Renewables (EEW), a leading global developer of utility-scale solar energy projects.

Svante has a track record of successful exits from his ventures and investments, and now focuses his energy on ensuring a clean future for all. He has spent the past 22 years focusing on green technology industries such as oil recovery from submerged tankers, solar module production, recyclable office supplies, and renewable energy development, as well as hydrogen production.
