Andrew Baldwin’s Biography

Andrew Baldwin is the President of Core Real Estate LLC, a boutique real estate investment and development firm he established in 2011. He has been a land developer in the central Virginia area since 2007.

Core Real Estate specializes in community properties, as well as business and commercial acquisition. In addition, with its strong presence in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas, Core’s business focus covers luxury condo buildings, conservation-based communities, retail development and local businesses.

Andrew has developed several single-family home communities, condo complexes, and commercial projects in the Charlottesville and central Virginia area. In recent years, his focus has moved further away from ground-up development and more into business acquisition. Airport Auto Center, Hathaway Paper Supply, Ivy Cottages, Sunset Lodge Investments and Tri-County Feeds are all businesses owned by Andrew. Cardwell Office Complex, 600 E Water Street Office Complex, Shamrock Farm and Willow Oak Plaza are real estate holdings in the Charlottesville region owned by him.

A former big wave surfer, Andrew has always enjoyed extreme sports and has also pursued kayaking, skiing and snowboarding. He is a member of Roseland Polo Club in Crozet, Virginia, and his Core Polo Team has achieved success at home, across the USA and abroad.

Andrew is a supporter of the Building Goodness Foundation, a non-profit that relies on volunteers to build and renovate buildings for disadvantaged people.
