Chris is based in New York and worked with CVC on several key projects before joining the company in 2020, including serving on the Boards of Petco, PDC Brands and BJ’s Wholesale Club, and successfully leading BJ’s as CEO.

Chris has a consistent track record of increasing shareholder value and operating performance at Fortune 100 companies, with extensive experience in leading complex businesses, mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integrations, and turnarounds.

Prior to BJ’s, Chris held a range of executive positions in the food and beverage sector. He held leadership roles at Kraft Heinz, P&G and Nabisco. He also served as CEO of energy company Hess Corporation and was Senior Vice President of Hess Corporation.

He also serves as Executive Chairman of PDC Brands, a wellness and personal care company, and is Non-Executive Chair of the Board at Constellation Brands Inc.

Active in his community, Chris is an Executive Board Member of Harlem Lacrosse, a sports education organization, and served as Chairman of both the National Retail Federation and Morristown Medical Center, which he still supports as a donor.
