Bertie Way’s Biography

Bertie Way is an adviser to Salamanca Group, a corporate advisory business where he is responsible for sourcing equity and debt for substantial projects. He is also a Senior Adviser to Themis, the financial crime agency.

Previously, Bertie was Chairman of the leading City recruitment agency, Joslin Rowe, after serving 24 years in the public relations industry, working principally at Chime Communications PLC where he was Group Business Development Director. He also undertook political consultancy and reputation management assignments in Chile, Romania, Zimbabwe, Yugoslavia and Turkey.

For fifteen years Bertie served as Chairman of Starlight Children’s Foundation, the wish-granting charity for seriously ill children, and as a Trustee for the Anna Freud Centre. He currently acts as a Strategic Adviser to the UK charity, Bounce Forward, which helps young people develop their resilience skills.
