Charley Moore’s Biography

Charley Moore is the Founder & President of The Moore Group, LLC, a corporate consultancy and investment firm founded in 2001 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The firm’s primary business focuses include sports and entertainment, new media, private equity, real estate and outdoor lifestyle companies.

The Moore Group’s initial clients included David Duval, ESPN Outdoors and Falconhead Capital, an IMG-related private equity firm in the sports and lifestyle spaces. Moore’s other early golf-related ventures comprise creating official marketing partnerships for the PGA TOUR with The Golf Warehouse (TGW/pgatour.com) and Bombardier’s Flexjet (fractional private aircraft). He was also an investor, CEO and Co-founder of PureGolf Radio, which led the sport of golf’s entry into satellite radio. The PGA TOUR Network is considered one of the most commercially successful sports channels at Sirius/XM today.

He also oversaw IMG’s golf corporate consulting business and its foray into the digital golf universe through TWIinteractive.

The Moore Group has evolved but remains focused on verticals around private equity investing, sports league consulting, real estate investing and advisory, new media consulting, outdoor lifestyle and sports driven philanthropy. Current clients include the PGA Tour and its investors and partners, LPGA Tour, RocaPoint Partners, HighPost Capital, Centr (Chris Hemsworth fitness app) and Toldright, LLC.
