Deborah Montaperto’s Biography

Deborah Montaperto is a Partner of The Polk Wealth Management Group at Morgan Stanley and a Managing Director at the firm. She focuses on Tailored Lending opportunities and is responsible for developing strategic Institutional relationships for the team’s clients. She was instrumental in creating the NextGen and Family Advisory platforms which are holistic, multifaceted approaches to dealing with the interface between wealth and family dynamics. Prior to joining the Polk Group in 2008, Deborah was a Managing Director in Citigroup's Investment Banking division, responsible for fostering client relationships between the Institutional Clients Group and Global Wealth Management.

Deborah is a frequent speaker at Morgan Stanley and industry conferences and she and the team have been featured and quoted in numerous publications including the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Barron's, The Financial Times, Forbes, and Worth Magazine.

She serves on the Board of Lincoln Center’s Corporate Fund and Lincoln Center’s Women’s Leadership Council. At The National Arts Club, she is one of... She is a Board member of Teen Cancer America and is a founding committee member of Women in Fund Finance, a global organization supporting women in Private Equity. Deborah is a member of The Economic Club of New York, and a Patron of The London Magazine.

Deborah graduated with a B.A. cum laude from Tufts University and earned an M.A. degree from the Villa Schifanoia in Florence, Italy. She currently splits her time between Palm Beach and New York.
