Imran Ahmadzada’s Biography

Imran Elkhan Ahmadzada is a global business leader, with extensive expertise in investment banking, corporate finance, entrepreneurship and business strategy. As the Global Chief Financial Officer of NEQSOL Holding and Head of NEQSOL Holding Azerbaijan, Imran oversees all aspects of asset, portfolio, and investment management while directing the company's operations in Azerbaijan.

Imran began his journey with NEQSOL Holding in 2013, initially serving as the Chief Treasury Officer at Nobel Energy, an Integrated Energy Production, Development, and Services company.

His prior experience spans nearly a decade in the banking sector. Imran began as a Treasury Department Specialist at AGBank, then served as the Deputy Head of the Treasury Department at DemirBank before moving on to the Italian investment bank Mediobanca. He then returned to DemirBank as Director of the Treasury Department.

In addition to Imran's primary responsibilities, he serves on the boards of several NEQSOL Holding subsidiaries, including Nobel Energy, Nobel Upstream, Norm Cement, and telecom companies Backcell... Imran is also actively involved in philanthropy, and he serves as a Board Member of the American Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organization based in Azerbaijan.

His commitment to education and mentorship has earned him recognition in academic circles, where he has influenced aspiring business leaders in Azerbaijan and beyond. Imran has taught international business and finance at ADA University and international business and financial reporting & analysis at Azerbaijan University, sharing his insights on corporate finance with students.

On the academic front, Imran graduated from Harvard Business School's Program for Leadership Development (HBS alternative to E-MBA) in 2020.
